Betsey started her sales career as a National Account Manager with Super Pages, and performed sales and marketing for Dallas Patriots baseball organization where she met the President of Champions School of Real Estate, Kimberly Dydalewicz. Shortly after she was offered my position as Career Counselor with Champions in January 2013 joining the company the same year Champions was celebrating its 30th year in business. She was hired to help open the FTW campus, and relocated from Frisco to Fort Worth to accomplish that. From the beginning, Betsey knew that Champions and the leadership team was a perfect fit for her, and hit the ground running. Betsey has greatly enjoyed promoting Champions to the Fort Worth community over the last 4 years.
Champions quickly outgrew the first campus on Camp Bowie Blvd., and began making plans for expanding to a campus twice its size (7,000 square feet). Betsey is proud to have witnessed the inception of the Fort Worth campus along with its fast-paced growth. Promoted to Assistant Campus Manager in 2015 and Campus Manager in April 2016 she will be celebrating 4 years with Champions on January 21st, 2017. Champions growth has truly been amazing. January alone was a record-breaking for enrollments since opening the doors of our Fort Worth campus. It is exciting to be a part of such remarkable growth in such a short period of time, and assisting more and more students in achieving their life-long career goals.
The beauty of becoming a licensed Real Estate Agent is that it is available to anyone who is over the age of 18 and a Texas resident. This allows her to visit with students every day, with many different stories, from all walks of life. She gets to help 18 year-olds, seniors, moms, dads, retirees, as well as individuals who speak English as a second language, to name a few. Betsey feels that helping people is one of the most rewarding feelings in life, and getting to assist a diverse set of individuals who are starting over in their career is extremely gratifying.
One of the most rewarding aspects of her job is when students return for their continuing education every two years. It excites her to hear their success stories such as a couple of the individuals previously featured on the Top Producers Podcast. She enjoys meeting individuals from all sides of the real estate sphere, including Realtors, Lenders, Inspectors, and Appraisers.
Champions is a female and family-owned business. Rita Santamaria, who founded Champions out of her home in 1983, has grown Champions to become the largest real estate education provider in Texas and the entire nation. Rita is such an example of success, hard work, and professionalism. She continues to influence everyone she comes in contact with, which sets the tone for her entire company. Betsey has been continually impressed with this company and its ability to push its employees and students to excellence. Every day she is surrounded by some of the most intelligent and kind individuals she has ever met in her life. Champions pushes its employees and its students to be the best they can be.
